Our general first impressions

Glossy bingo is definitely trying to be different, and rather than going for the standard style bingo website, they’ve tried to create a unique design around a magazine on a coffee table. It’s original and different simply because it doesn’t really look like a bingo site. If it wasn’t for the name you’d probably have no idea who it was aimed at. The magazine look is quite clever with headlines on the ‘front cover’ all to do with bingo. Because of the layout and design navigation is easy due to the clear layout of the menu bar at the top of the page. You can easily jump from different pages without any problems. However, the FAQ section could be a little better, as while we were inspecting this element it was a bit tricky trying to find all the information. It’s not particularly clear or easy to use and there is no live chat facility until you’ve actually signed up and are in the lobby area.

How to register a new account and make a deposit

As part of this glossy bingo review we registered a new player account so that we could fully test all aspects of this bingo site. The registration process itself is nice and simple where you have to fill in all the usual personal details such as name and address. It is quick and easy and we did not encounter any issues here. Once you’ve done this you’re then presented with a screen where you can make your first deposit. When you do make a deposit a new window will pop up where you’re asked whether you want to make a deposit or validate your account. At this stage you can just click deposit to be taken to a page which will give you a list of depositing options. Simply chose one and then make your deposit. However, if you don’t want to make that initial deposit then you don’t have to as you can still view the bingo and slot games before you decide to gamble with your own money.

Assessment of the bingo lobby and different bingo rooms

Whether you’ve decided to deposit or not you’ll find yourself in the lobby area, which still has that magazine style feel to it. However, the lack of rooms is very disappointing. Upon close inspection of all the rooms available there is just 3 90 ball rooms and one 75 ball room, and at the time of testing only one of these rooms was open. The navigation is also a little tricky, as you need to use a menu on the right of the screen, which is a little tricky to use and see mainly down to the colour scheme. This is a real disappointment, but this is because glossy bingo uses microgaming software. This means that the choice of rooms is poor, as they are quite new to the online bingo market. But what it lacks for choice in bingo rooms it more than makes up for it with its excellent range of slots and side games.

As part of our overall inspection for this glossy bingo review we played a number of bingo games to get a good feel for the action. The bingo rooms look very pleasing on the eye. The chat box is on the left while the tickets are on the right with the balls called just above this. The design is very good and we enjoyed playing bingo. However, you will have to mute the ‘chat sounds’ as every time there is an action in the chat box it makes a noise. This gets annoying after a while so you may want to mute the sounds! We found the CMs to be helpful when we quizzed them about chat games. The roomies were friendly enough, but there weren’t really many people around for us to fully find out.

Final Summary & Evaluation

Our overall evaluation and analysis for this glossy bingo review. This is a real mixed bag. On the one hand the design works well and looks fun and different. Yet it also comes in for criticism as it can be a bit fiddly finding bingo rooms and slot games. There is nothing wrong with the bingo action itself which is very good. However, this bingo site is for players who like a bit of bingo but like slots even more.

What Games Are Available?

There is a not great selection of different bingo games available, but there is a great range of side games. You can find 90 ball and 75 ball. There is also a selection of different side games which includes slots, big jackpots, scratch cards, instant wins and casino games. There are huge progressive jackpot games to play.

What Are the Glossy Bingo Wagering Requirements?

The wagering requirement is 4X your deposit + the bonus amount received. So if you deposited £10 and received £30 bonus the total wagering requirement is £160. If you make a withdrawal before meeting these requirements you will lose all your bonus funds.

What is the Glossy Bingo Withdrawal Process?

Before you can make a withdrawal you need to validate your account which is done by clicking a link sent to you in an email. The minimum withdrawal amount is £20 and you can only request one withdrawal every seven days, which is disappointing and quite restrictive.

Is it safe to play and fully Licensed & Regulated?

Glossy Bingo is safe to play and join as it is ‘whitelisted’. This is because it is licensed and regulated in Malta which means it falls under the jurisdiction of the UK Gambling Commission.
